The IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission to their five-year Integrated Program in Management.  IIM Directly After 10+2

While over 2 lakhs students take the CAT exam, the IPM program attracts 18,000+ applicants. The relatively lower competition, coupled with significant potential, makes it an attractive choice. Moreover, opting for IPM allows students to save a year that might otherwise be spent preparing for CAT after completing their graduation.

IPMAT Entrance Exam Pattern

IPMAT Indore

IPMAT is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. The exam was earlier conducted and accepted by only IIM Indore for admission to its give year intergrated programme in management. In 2022, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade started accepting IPMAT scores for admission to its integrated MBA programme. From the year 2023 onwards, many other institutes were added to the list which will also accept IPMAT scores conducted by IIM Indore. Institutes such as the Indian Institute of Ranchi, Alliance University, NICMAR University, Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law and Institute of Management, Nirma University will also accept IPMAT scores for admission to the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).

IPMAT Indore is conducted in online mode, Computer-based. A time duration of 2 hours will be provided to answer a total of 90 questions distributed in three sections.
The exam sections include:
• Quantitative Ability- SA
• Quantitative Ability (MCQ)
• Verbal Ability
Marking scheme:
• Every correct answer carries 4 marks
• Every incorrect answer carries -1 marks
• Quantitative Ability (SA) Section will not carry any negative marking

IPMAT Rohtak

Candidates will be given 120 minutes or 2 hours to solve the exam.
The three sections of the exam:
• Quantitative Ability
• Logical Reasoning
• Verbal Ability
Marking scheme:
• Every correct answer carries 4 marks
• Every incorrect answer carries -1 marks

JIPMAT

The Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) is a national-level entrance examination in India for admission into a five-year integrated program in Management offered by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) at Bodh Gaya and Jammu.
JIPMAT also has three sections with a total of 100 questions. 150 minutes will be given to candidates to complete the paper.
• Quantitative Aptitude (33 questions)
• Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (33 questions)
• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (34 questions)
Marking scheme:
• Every correct answer carries 4 marks
• Every incorrect answer carries -1 marks

IPMAT Exam Preparation Approach
