FTII JET - Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test
AGE LIMIT
The minimum age of the candidate applying for FTII JET must be 21 years of age.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- For Screenplay Writing, Direction, Editing, Feature Film Screenplay Writing, Acting, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline to apply for FTII JET exam.
- For Sound Recording & Sound Design, the candidate must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline with physics as a compulsory subject in Class 12.
- For Art Direction & Production Design, the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, applied arts, painting, sculpture, interior design, or related fields in fine arts or an equivalent diploma in any of the above mentioned areas.
- The candidates who are appearing for final year of graduation can also apply for the exam.
- The candidates who have completed their degree and awaiting for the result can also apply for the exam.

POINTS TO REMEMBER:
Each question will have four options in which one or more options will be the correct.
Answer to each question will be evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:
- +2 will be given if the candidate’s answer is correct
- +1.5 will be given if all the four given options are correct but the candidate has chosen only three of them.
- +1 will be given if three or more given options are correct but the candidate has chosen only two of the correct options.
- +0.5 will be given if two or more given options are correct but the candidate has chosen only one correct option.
- 0 marks if none of the options is chosen i.e, the question is left unanswered.
