The University of Delhi, under the aegis of the Office of the Dean Students’ Welfare, is pleased to announce the launch of the Vice Chancellor’s Summer Internship Programme (VCIS) 2025. Scheduled for June and July 2025, the programme invites applications from dynamic and motivated students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate courses at the University. Please note, students in their final year or final semester are ineligible to apply.
Programme Overview:
- Commitment: 20 hours per week
- Duration: Two months
- Stipend: Rs 11,025 per month
- Certification: Successful interns will be awarded a certificate of completion, endorsed by the Dean of Students’ Welfare.
Eligibility is strictly limited to students who have not previously participated in any edition of the Vice Chancellor’s Internship Programme (summer or part-time).
A key application requirement is the submission of a Letter of Recommendation issued on or after April 15, 2025, by the Principal, Head of Department, or Head of Institution. The recommendation must be printed on official letterhead, duly signed and stamped. Applications submitted without the mandatory Letter of Recommendation will be summarily rejected.
