Ministry of Railways has introduced Unreserved Mobile Ticketing with a view to promoting three C’s- Cashless transactions (Digital payment), Contactless ticketing (no need to physically visit the point of sale) and Customer convenience and experience.
The facility of booking unreserved tickets, including season tickets and also platform tickets is available through the ‘UTSONMOBILE’ app available for Android, IOS and Windows phones.

59-minute approval portal for loans of up to Rs.1 crore to MSMEs
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a 59-minute approval portal for loans of up to Rs.1 crore to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Further, the mandatory sourcing limit by state-run companies from MSMEs has been increased to 25% from the previous 20%.
Temporary waiver from US sanctions against buyers of Iranian crude oil.
India and 7 other nations have been granted a temporary waiver from US sanctions against buyers of Iranian crude oil.
The US will reimpose sanctions on Iran on November 5, with crude oil being Iran’s largest source of income.
India currently imports nearly 80% of its crude oil consumption.

Mudhasir achieved the feat by dismissing Rajasthan’s Chetan Bist, Tajinder Singh Dhillon, Rahul Chahar, and Tanvir Mashart Ul-Haq today, becoming only the second player to take four wickets in four balls in Ranji Trophy.
Rahul Dravid Inducted Into ICC Hall Of Fame
Rahul Dravid became the fifth Indian to be inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame on Thursday as Sunil Gavaskar presented him with the momento prior to the start of the fifth One-Day International between India and West Indies.
Dravid was presented with the framed cap by Gavaskar as he was formally inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.
Dravid has scored 23, 208 international runs for India across formats, including 48 hundreds and 146 fifties. He has scored the runs at an average of 45.41.
The four Indians who were inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame prior to Dravid are:
Sunil Gavaskar (1971-1987) – inducted in 2009
Bishan Singh Bedi (1966-1979) – inducted in 2009
Kapil Dev (1978-1994) – inducted in 2010
Anil Kumble (1990-2008) – inducted in 2015

India and Japan signed a loan agreement of Rs 18.17 bn for the construction of the Turga Pumped Storage in West Bengal.
